Jewish Roots of Catholicism & Experiences of Jewish Catholics

• The Ancient Jewish Roots of the Catholic Church (video) - John Bergsma, Old Testament scholar who works at the St. Paul Center with Scott Hahn, makes the case that Christianity and Judaism aren't two things that are connected, but rather two parts of a single whole that have historically been given different names. He then talks about his book Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls: Revealing the Jewish Roots of Christianity (link below), in which he sees the Essene community as being a bridge between the two "parts".

The very first one in the series is Schoeman's incredible story of being led to the Church through mystical encounters with Jesus and Mary and a miraculous gift of "infused knowledge" regarding the love of God.
