Jewish Roots of Catholicism & Experiences of Jewish Catholics
- The Ancient Jewish Roots of the Catholic Church (video) - John Bergsma, Old Testament scholar who works at the St. Paul Center with Scott Hahn, makes the case that Christianity and Judaism aren't two things that are connected, but rather two parts of a single whole that have historically been given different names. He then talks about his book Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls: Revealing the Jewish Roots of Christianity (link below), in which he sees the Essene community as being a bridge between the two "parts".
- Can You Be a Jewish Catholic? (video) - Discussion with Angela Costly and Gavin D'Costa, editors of From Sinai to Rome: Jewish Identity in the Catholic Church (link to book below)
- Re-Judaizing Catholicism (video) - Bishop Barron
- JewishCatholic (videos) - YouTube channel of Roy Schoeman, author of Salvation is From the Jews (link below).
- A lot of great content, including "Are Jews in the Church Still Jews?", Edith Stein, Rabbi Zolli, and a lot of topics re: Jewish roots of Catholic beliefs.
- If you sort the videos by Oldest, it starts with a long series that goes through Schoeman's book Salvation is From the Jews. The very first one in the series is Schoeman's incredible story of being led to the Church through mystical encounters with Jesus and Mary and a miraculous gift of "infused knowledge" regarding the love of God.
- The Coming Home Network (videos & articles)- Huge selection of resources including 48 episodes of The Journey Home with personal stories of Jews embracing Catholicism, along with 12 written testimonies.
- Association of Hebrew Catholics (AHC) (website) - Approved Catholic lay association and the main group representing Jewish identity in the Church (unfortunately, the website isn't great and is hard to navigate).
